Hintere Schwärze, marking the border between Austria and Italy, stands as a significant peak in the Ötztal Alps, with an impressive height of 3,628 meters. It ranks as the fourth highest in the mountain range. The mountain’s first ascent was successfully completed on September 10, 1867, by a team led by E. Pfeiffer, B. Klotz, and J. Scheiber.
